Clear Legal Help, Delivered Personally
I’m Martin Taggart, a solicitor who focuses on helping people when a legal issue becomes urgent — a deadline, a refusal, a dispute, or a document that needs to be right the first time.
My work is centred on clarity and action.
I specialise in document-heavy, procedural legal problems, where people don’t need long explanations or open-ended processes — they need clear answers, properly drafted documents, and practical next steps.
How I Work
I provide fixed-fee legal support, agreed upfront, and I work directly with every client myself.
That means:
- no handovers
- no call centres
- no layers of administration
You deal with the solicitor responsible for the work, from start to finish.
This allows me to work efficiently, communicate clearly, and focus on matters where precision, timing, and structure genuinely affect the outcome.
What I Focus On
Much of my work involves:
- solicitor-drafted legal documents
- court forms and applications
- formal responses to letters, notices, or refusals
- situations where escalation is unavoidable and mistakes are costly
Clients usually come to me when:
- something has already gone wrong
- time is limited
- or they need to act decisively rather than wait and see
Plain English, Fixed Fees
Legal problems are stressful enough without unnecessary complexity.
I explain things in plain English, set out what can be done, and confirm the fixed fee before any work begins. There are no hourly rates and no surprises.
My aim is that clients leave the process knowing:
- where they stand
- what’s been done
- and what happens next
A Deliberate Approach
I don’t try to cover every area of law or take on every enquiry.
That’s intentional.
By focusing on a defined type of work — urgent, procedural, document-led matters — I’m able to give proper attention to each case and deliver work that is clear, careful, and reliable.
If I can help, I’ll say so.
If I can’t, I’ll tell you honestly.
Get in Touch
If you’re dealing with a legal issue that feels time-sensitive or requires formal drafting, the best next step is to explain what’s happened.
I review enquiries personally and respond promptly.
